DJ gave our camera the name Annie Oakley,"Annie" for short, because he said she was well-known for being a sharpshooter. I spent a couple hours today taking shots of random stuff, to get used to using the manual settings. Teaching myself photography is even more challenging than I thought it would be, but I think if it were too easy it wouldn't be as fun. Plus, it's quite enjoyable searching for inspiration in everything. A flower, a smile, a stream of sunlight between tree branches, stuff like that is fun to capture.
