fun on a budget

Well here we are again, Friday. How we love you. One of the perks of not having cable is that it forces us to come up with creative ways to entertain ourselves. Fun.on.a.BUDGET! This is perhaps what led DJ to wear his Grandpa's tiny blue shorts to go get us some ice cream, that and he was promised ten bucks if he actually went through with it. And yes, of course he knew this would be fodder for the blog. It is after all a truthful depiction of two oddballs' first year together.
